Just got mine a couple of days ago. It seems that if you ran some extra length of exhaust on the inside of the trailer before venting outside that you would keep more heat in. Anyone do this?

Baofeng probably make 50 different models. Some are cheap like the uv5r. There are many tour operators that use the package I sell because they work. CKMP bought a bunch last year and more this season. Do you really think they would buy more if they were crap?

I haven't had any issues with the BCI mics. I have them specially made for sledding.

The other thing I would suggest is go through every electrical connection and make sure there is no corrosion and put some dielectric grease on them I had an intermetant short on my kill switch and it almost threw me over the bars a few times.
