Not many sleds I have bought where I didn't blow a motor or two under warranty. My 2020.5 with 8900 km and 2023 with 4500 km still on original motor though. But the extend warranty I bought on my 2020.5 has been paid for itself 3 times over.

You will get better range using VHF frequencies vs UHF frequencies. It is why RR channels are VHF

Another 2023 turbo in same area had same message. The 2024 were fine. Just wierd snow conditions icing the vents up

Never had any issues on my 2020.5 turbo 8000km and 3000km+ on my 2023 before it happened on one day so pretty sure BRP has it figured out. Pretty sure just all the vents plugged with snow.

There is a muffler spring recall now

So after the big dump a few days ago on the coast we broke into Appa lake and the Pemberton Icecap. Had 3 muffler overheat warnings on my 23 turbo. Never even heard of those before never mine having one. Let it cool down and was OK. Anyone else ever get one

I use the Gaia app but take a look at fat maps too. There sat images seem way better.

Most likely wet hay. If you don't take the temp of it using a metal rods or thermometer you run that risk.

If you don't have any apps like Gaia you can use google maps to get your location by tapping the location icon then dropping a pin at your location by tap and hold until the red pin appears then tapping on that pin to get the lat-long

Ya a zoleo or inreach and he would have been OK. Sounds like he was in radio contact so not sure why he couldn't give him his GPS location from his phone.
