Agree, if it breaks, you replace it. The much worse problem is when it falls off and there is no way to keep it on. New bolt won't fix that. New clutch won't fix that. Need a new motor.
But how much is a 9R or Boost worth that only has 1 year warranty - and half of that will be this winter where probably you won't get to ride it due to low snow. If you get one with a clutch that falls off, literally the only fix is a new engine. In that case, what was this sled you bought...
In the plans for everyone to have an EV, keep in mind that the big caveat is that everyone leaves their EV plugged into their home charger 24/7 when the car is at home.
That way, when the wind isn't blowing and the sun isn't shining and the snowmobilers are sad from the low mountain snowpack...
I imagine you've experienced the climate to be confident that it suits you.

There's a new Santa Fe coming. Not sure if it is a 2024 or 2025. But it is larger than the old one.
Also a new Palisade coming that looks like a Escalade.
Ideally, the add-on Trailtech gauge would be powered by a commercial off the shelf USB battery pack (like people use to charge their cellphones). This is the cheapest and most universal method of battery power.
I agree. I think even with smooth throttle application, whoops will develop. It's something in the dynamics of our sled suspension and snow packing.
I continue to hope that someone will invent a practical sleigh or other attachment that all of us can easily attach to our sleds on the trail to...
Back on topic, didn't this thread miss out on a senator or congressperson literally being expelled due to corruption - the last instance of this being 170 years ago?
I saw a Ford truck in Revelstoke with four sleds on top of it. Did anyone get a photo?
Conditions are good for sledding. Old tracks are still present, so you have to hunt for fresh.
