Cool, wasn't aware of that, will have to pitch it to the crew.
@Marmot if we end up heading out there can def give you a shout, tag along shouldn't be an issue
Bought a year-old 7' Crosstrax with their pin-on 18" extension last year, seems decent enough. 2 pc ramp can be a pain when alone but otherwise no issues. I called and asked last year about a new one, I believe they were priced around $4500 for powder coated black with extension. Nice thing...
Any recommendations for dealerships to deal with? I guess GM is $7k off now and according to the website tonight, Ram is 1500 cash bonus, 0% financing and free Cummins. Sounding like a pretty good deal to me...
Well, I'm thinking I'm swung to a GM unless I get a screaming deal on a Ram...planning on holding out til about Oct/Nov unless something special comes up. Any recommendations for Edmonton area stealerships? Or someplace further giving better deals?
It's just my logic, you've got that much less to go wrong. I work on the trucks for a heavy haul company, mostly 2012 and newer, and majority of problems I see are emissions equipment related. And as far as EGR, I just don't like putting sooty diesel exhaust back in the engine. Deletes might not...
Anybody been keeping warranty after engine mods? Or do you just lose engine coverage? I'd just like to do deletes right off the bat, I personally think EGR is one of the worst things for them and DPF and DEF are just a headache...
Thanks for the replies guys, sounds like some heavy digs against the Dodges haha. The new ones seem better than previous years, but I suppose I'd rather not find out the hard way...
As far as lifts, I was planning on getting something higher end. Thinking Cognito for a GM, unless anyone has any...
Looking into buying a new or newish truck before winter here, kinda just narrowed down to either a Duramax or a Cummins. Curious what people might have to say about these, 2014 and newer.
Any experience/issues with that new Aisin, particularly with above stock power?
Probably going to be doing...
Ran up to Lucille last weekend with a few buddies for the last rip of the season, probably ended up being the best trip with the weather we had. We were the dummies swapping reeds on the turbo cat at 2pm Saturday
Snow was pretty set up come Sunday, but a...
Had the same issue, took it in for that and other warranty stuff. They said they recommend the tank sleeve, but mine wasn't distorted yet, just leaking out the cap breather so they replaced it under warranty.
Sorry to thread jack, but anybody got opinions on deck extensions? We all ride 163s so i was thinking 7ft deck plus removable extension, but if XDecks are junk, not much else in the lower price range seems to have the extension option (Denali, Marlon). Any other suggestions?
Already has them. Old truck driver at work had it set up for pulling his horse trailer, so it's got bags, intake, exhaust, tune, fass pump and tranny work. Plus just repainted it and rebuilt the front end. Thinking it should be pretty good to go.
Just lookin for a bit of advice here...pickin up a 2002 Cummins for a sled hauler and was looking at throwing a leveling kit at it. Looking on the google machine, i find that some sell the basic spacer kits that i'm familiar with, and then others sell an entire new spring and shock. I can...
Had the same problem one time riding in the rain...dropped it off at Martin and it started working again, they found nothing. I was told the cluster isn't sealed but wasn't really given a solution. One buddy of mine had it happen, said they just blew out the connector and it fixed er.
54...they already tried out a Commander and said they like it. Really all I can think of them using it for is cruising, dad moving stuff around the farm and spraying fencelines once in awhile, and mom for gardening. Mostly gravel road blasting I'd say though. Polaris dealership might be an issue...
