Anyone been out around Edson lately? Brother in law has to pick up his sled there tomorrow. Wondering if it’s worth bringing our gear and going for a test rip?
I bet Doo's 800 vs 850 numbers are probably more accurate than people think. I still believe the majority of performance increase the G4 exhibits of the XM comes from reduced rotating mass on the track. 2 HP may very well be accurate
Took the kids out to baseline mountain with their GTs yesterday and towed them to the top a couple times. Enough snow to cruise a logging road but that’s about it. No more out there than there is around the rocky area.
anyone want to go on a week day this week? Im tied up next weekend and my brother inlaws sled is toast. Not a fan of solo rides. Doo has a new engine but i dont trust it that much haha
somewhat accurate. I noticed they relocated the rear link on the skid to reduce transfer and keep skiis down. Wont be a positive change for the young bucks i dont think
id bet most of the difference in "felt" power and acceleration/climbing is more attributed to the pitch and lower rotating mass on the gen4 tracks than the engine
Going it alone in a single truck as an HET is a tough gig. Margins are slim, and overhead is high. Other trades are better suited to going privately. I looked into it a few times over the years but for the small increase in profit it was hard to justify the added stress and loss of security...
On your phone go to settings, then account. The default Sharing setting has either public, or private for options. You want to leave sync on as thats what allows you to see your saved information on multiple devices of your own. You can also click on a saved track and choose its setting there on...
Thats what ive found surprising through all this. They have stayed focused on the larger engines. Surprised we havent see a 700 engine with a turbo on it yet. There's several Raptor 700 quads with turbo kits between 14-24 PSI. The 700 longblock dressed up is only 115 lb. For comparison a 850...
haha its all good. I never rode revy until last year. Was really nice to see where everyone else goes, where the usual main paths are. We had a really good trip considering none of us had ever rode there before. Thanks alot in part to what we found on Gaia
hey keep quiet about the public tracks setting. I mean dont get me wrong, i leave mine off, but its invaluable when going to a new area to find everyone elses honey holes!
The premium version is great for the many different layers, even historical forest fire data, and syncing with your account...
