I have had bad luck with doo flex edge tracks ripping lugs off the edge so I would put my money the poo track holding up long term. Usually takes a few thousand miles before the doo ones fell apart so should be fine if upgrading every year.
Tape over all the vents in your helmet for trail ride and get a kilm arctic balaclava. Make sure you have no air leaks around googles or you will have frost bite in a hurray. Electrical tape works great because it doesn’t leave any residue when you take it off.
Does your sled go as fast up a mountain as on flat ground….nothing goes as fast uphill as on flat ground. The scoot is only 9 hp, they are pretty impressive little rigs IMO for kids.
Something wrong with the top speed, I can get 48 kph on my sons scoot. Plenty of forums on top speed being around 30mph.
To the OP your youngest is small and the 9 yr old is probably only going to get a year or so out of it depending on their riding experience.

I tried to build a turbo 146 but it wasn’t an option has to go 155....I will try again because that would be unreal. Still gonna give it a year and see how it holds up.
