    this is maybe something that a lot of people dont think about or realize where the lakes even are. I know of several at the Renshaw I am careful of but I bet a lot dont in the early season. I also know the difference between slush/ flooding and thin ice. Oops wrong thread!

    something i always wondered about is when mountain lakes are safe to ride on, Here in Alberta we get colder temps and the lakes freeze up pretty quick generally bit up in the alpine it always seems milder and a lot more snow blanketing things so I always feel nervous about riding on them...

    thanks guys for the info, I wear a can am sea doo glove on warmer days, they are thinner and obviously good when wet and dont blister my hands like the mechanix gloves.

    dont have one yet but after seeing how nice buddys 650 was to use and enter type and how nice the maps etc were to read, very user friendly, I will for sure be upgrading. carry it in your pocket or pack and no issues with cold.

    anyone have any suggestions for an alternate to the challenger lite? I need a new track but don't want to spend the $$ on a new stock one as they fly apart after a couple seasons. Looking for a good alternate that uses the stock drivers etc.
