    Clutching

The stock secondary spring is real stiff and stops shift with a 303lb finish rate. The primary weights have been tested and wont need tuning. just install and go. I go to a multi-angle helix and a softer secondary spring.

I guess we will need a new Matryx 900 section tomorrow?

Just cant leave this one alone hey... Those axy 850's were bought at roughly 17,500 give or take, the 2022 matryx N/A's were closer to 19500. Now 24-26K for 7% better.. to me that is just brutal.

Polaris ... Please make this track for the RMK's

I dont know why polaris cant make this into a 15" wide track for there mountain sleds. It sure would be nice if they offered this 3" instead of the crap one they have. Im not sure how hard it is to make this a 15" wide, but seems like it would be relatively easy. The lugs and design are very...

500 mile review of Polaris matryx slash 165

All I get is a day and half at a time. The old dad bod isn't helping either. Should be lifting and training to lose this 20lbs of useless mass.

500 mile review of Polaris matryx slash 165

Agreed, which is why I said I would give it an honest go.... but would most likely fail.. I dont ride enough to have the stamina those guys have. I could ride for a minutes at a time and then need rest stops. Im always impressed watching them as they just go non-stop.

I agree 100%. If you have 25K for a sled the skidoo has better value. It will come down to rider preference if they prefer the Doo or the Poo. I find it so frustrating that polaris continues to offer horrible tracks, have poor clutching and offer a sled that has lots of initial issues. Im on 9...

800’ Elevation climbs - Polaris Boost!!

The polaris 3" track is the worse track on any snowmobile... just an FYI.

800’ Elevation climbs - Polaris Boost!!

WE have been using the Camso X3 for years, and the newer G4 3". It really isnt that much to upgrade. the skidoo track plus getting it cut it just under $2,000. I sold my stock 2.75 for $1500. it was only a $500 upgrade. the traction difference is massive. Then a little clutching and gearing and...

    Clutching

We did some validation testing on the weekend a stock 2022 165 and one with my helix, spring and weight combo. Stronger in the mid range and more top end. Back shift was faster and the belt warning didn't come on once. the stock sled had the belt temp warning come on 3 times. I have stock if...

I guess we will need a new Matryx 900 section tomorrow?

The 900 will be a disappointment to many people.. 26K and will need mods to get decent track speed. And still have a shitty track....

I guess we will need a new Matryx 900 section tomorrow?

These Boosts rip. Regardless of being on and off a trail to get over 60mph track speed is pretty sweet. These 9R's wont even be close

500 mile review of Polaris matryx slash 165

Now you just need some clutching. Your sled seems to be low on RPM and has real bad fade.

Here is my Boost 165 - with clutching, gearing and Doo track (left) vs 2021 Turbo Doo 175 with gearing and a team tied conversion and clutching (right). There close, but the top end of the boost starts to pull away.

I guess we will need a new Matryx 900 section tomorrow?

We have been down this road. The skidoo track and better clutching make the Summit perform very well for the 165hp at elevation. Take a boost with clutching and a skidoo track and its not even a comparison any more.
