I was reading about that race, geeez there is like no water compared to when Ive been. First year we ran that it started at about 15000 CFS and was like 24000 by the end of the weekend. I heard it was only like 5500 on the fri before the race :eek: Would have been alot more rocks to watch out...

Yea its a 2 stroke , just have to drain the lower portion of the motor, which normally happens automatically on a Sportjet but the setup in the 17 is a bit differnent, just one valve to open at night. Honestly it just becomes "normal" to us after a while. Its still a rush but ive forgotten what "normal" lake boating is to be honest. Thats why I love taking out newbies cause I remember some of my first extreme jet boat rdes and whats its like to learn what a boat can really do in 4" of water...
