tell me about it, ill be riding with some polaris 9R and even some new CATS next year. Like always i will be having much more fun than them with 70 more HP
WHO knew that a sled thats north of 25K for an NA could be the least fun.
The only legit reason I could come up with is they don’t want to pay RCMP and traffic control night shift premiums. There is no fire there is no threat only a cost to have security alll night

Just drove through for the first time. Having a hard time understanding how they couldn’t hold that 100 meter line where it jumped the road [emoji2357]
Heard from a good source not a single bomber and no retardant was used.

last estimate was 286 million and like mentioned that does not include the lost tax revenue to the town or tourist aspect.
im not a mathematician but for 286 million i think they could have called in a few more ( zero used ) bomber reinforcements, maybe paid a bit of a premium, maybe swollowed...
i understand why so many people think that. I used too aswell. But the plane is 80 years old and just like any piece of equipment there is a point in its life cycle where it just doesn't make sense. Its capacity is unmatched, But the plane is slow, Not maneuverable, and underpowered. Its also...
don't get me wrong Banff is necessary. Helps weed out the basic B*tches. Any woman that says lets go to banff gets kicked to the curb. I cant think of any place on earth i rather wouldnt be.
No hate, it’s just no secret that Banff receives much more preferential treatment than jasper from the Canadian government.

that guy needs to fact check himself. That is a national park so it is not reported on Alberta's system. Look at the national parks interactive fire map there are a few out of control in wood buffalo national park.
Be careful what you believe on the internet folks, as tempting as it might seem
i wish i could share the videos I'm seeing from the locals in town. But holy smokes that is how its done. The response time was incredible. 3 JET air tankers doing laps back to PG with retardant so about 30 min cycle time. 4 Air tractor skimmers just hammering it constantly and picking up...
they are hitting it with a pretty impressive fleet of airpower. Its quite astonishing that 3 large jets, 4 helicopters and 4 water skimmers were there in 20 minutes meanwhile jasper had one fkn heli putting out hot spots. Difference between provincial and federal governments
i used a toro one from home depot with the post hole attachment. Worked Fkn fantastic. looking at the toro there wasn't anything special about it just a regular brigs and Stratton gas engine so i cant really see why the chinese ones that come with the same engine wouldn't perform. The toro...
its been 32000-34000 for 2 weeks now and "out of control" every single day of it. So something fishy forsure. there was over a week they were consistently reporting it as 32000 and out of control...every day
