On topic, I saw Shena Thomas post this from Sunday.

    2024-2025 REVELSTOKE AND AREA UPDATES

Depends what they are running. If they are powering the current system (probably xplore) through an inverter, it's horribly inefficient. I keep everything at a remote site running off straight DC power for efficiency purposes. From my research (although I've yet to test one), starlink is more...

    2024-2025 REVELSTOKE AND AREA UPDATES

I offered to help make it better, or at least do a free consultation and give my recommendations. Never got anywhere. Don't care enough to put a lot of effort in to no interest for no real gain to me. Just a fun side project.

    Renshaw bridge repair

I spoke to a reliable source in the know of things this morning. MBCSA is working diligently to have permissions for Tommy Creek this season, and they are very hopeful that will happen. There was some hope for Renshaw being groomed my the new groomer operation, on a donation basis and with...

    best spring puller

Sounds like the tool I need. Had no issues on my gen4 turbo, but the gen5 was not pleasant.

    best spring puller

I managed to use a shoelace on my wife's turbo R. Coming off was easy. Going on required her assistance to pull the spring up in to place using a spring puller. I was not able to get the right angle with just a lace.

    Power banks for Heated googles??????

My buddy does this with his ckx goggles. He uses that fancy e-linq system that connects to the DESS key. It works really well for him. To answer your question Lyle, any DC battery from 5-12v should work for you if you wire it up with the right connector(in theory, up to 14v should be fine)...

    10.25" battery relocate

    Renshaw bridge repair

There's a burial ground alright. If you walk out of the renshaw cabin, and take about 10 paces straight ahead, there's plenty buried.

    Renshaw bridge repair

They did what was best for them at the time. Times were uncertain with all the lockdown BS, and they did what needed to be done to get by. Can't say I blame them for taking advantage of a situation to prosper. We have stayed at CML for a week every Christmas for the last 5 years now, even...

Speeding a top concern for Canadians

What did those things make, like 200hp out of a 400 small block

Speeding a top concern for Canadians

Old school transmission shift mapping. Made the transmission downshift when you punched it.

Speeding a top concern for Canadians

The original zl1 was quite the car in its day. The new ZL1 look pretty mean. I might be biased tho. Definitely doesn't exceed the speed limit though. At least that's what my lawyer keeps telling people.

Speeding a top concern for Canadians

Have to look twice to see that's not a c7 zr1 at that angle. There was a c8z06 at the track on Monday. Thing was pretty crazy. Sneak up on my poor little miata in a hurry

They're both basically a squished beetle. All being VW and whatnot.
