Almost guaranteed it will work, just not legally. Looking at Garmin documents, it makes sense now. Polaris is using the 900MHz ISM band for v2v, and that's legal in all of North America. Seems the Polaris system is illegal in Europe though for that reason (that band is not unlicensed in Europe)

I see no reason why it wouldn't work. You're just operating on frequencies that may have legit commercial users. The Garmin tread is an add on module to add the group ride radio to my understanding, it's not integrated. Country cat already has the new gauge listed...

If they sell 1000 units at $5000 profit, they would have to sell 2000 units at $2500 profit to make the same amount of gross profits but with 2x the hassle.

Any experience with the "cheap" belts some manufacturers sell vs gates? Mitsuboshi? I broke 5 of those things in one season including two after the belt drive manufacture serviced the system and properly tensioned the belt. Really turns a guy off of belt drive.

Belt drive could be a solution to their wobbly driveshaft coupling without eating crow and going back to the old design. With the right marketing it would be revolutionary™️
