What he said. Saw a FB report that said it was ok but still hitting rocks etc with the skis and tracks if you aren't careful. Still early. Keep in mind that its a condensed area this year, lots of pipeline activity and Morrissey is closed all season as far as I know for pipeline work.
Don't they just need 91? Why would you go over that? You're not getting any performance advantage with it. Unless you're just trying to stay away from ethanol?
Never trust the ski hill report, its used to sell ski tickets. I think they use a tape measure that's printed in Kelvins or something. Whatever they report for base depth or new snow, usually I adjust to about 60-65% of what they say and its almost bang on.
Gee that looks familar.....Here's my post from a year ago (nov 2021). Don't worry though folks, these things aren't overpriced and the surcharges still aren't bullch!t..... :ROFLMAO: BRP Management would like to thank you for another successful year, from the bottom of their big, cash...
Welcome back Murray! Its been a long time. Now and then I come across pics of us up Chatter that time back in like 08. We need to get out for a ride again.
I'll give you $7500 . Does it have a cover? and you'll have to deliver it for that price since I don't own a truck. I might be able to get my buddies van and meet you halfway, and that might be 3 weeks from now after you've called and texted me about 100 times, asking if I still want it and...
I would say the market cooled, but it didn't "deflate" at least IMO. Used sleds were and are still selling high, and comparatively, new sleds were and are still selling high. A new sled will run you close to $27-$28K OTD easy. but only 2 years ago they were $23K. Raise the price and then...
Ski hill says 2 ft base, so knowing them, thats a generous measurement, probably more like 50. Definitely not off trail snow. Fernie typically lags a little until late Jan / Feb, but then they usually get a healthy amount of snow in Feb and March.
There's tons of sled ski terrain around Nelson. Areas I would recommend will depend on what you define as "long" runs and how technical of a rider you are for access. Fernie's good also but I wouldn't shy away from Nelson if that's on your bucket list.
Might be able to help with the tracks, not sure about timeline though, give me a few days. I have a spare secondary clutch (fully rebuilt) and probably some other parts laying around, I can take a look and let you know. FYI - a 3" track will fit the M-series without any mods.
Also, check the...
Anyone remember that bitchy little pre-teen kid from northern Ontario that came on this site about 100 years ago, started picking fights with everyone and swore up and down that if you revved your 488 phazer up and stuck your peepee in the carb, you'd get the best BJ of your life?
Good to see...
Yes, sorry didnt clarify. Buddies dad has an octane booster so will test it hopefully. I know some guys who've had good luck with Boostane and will be running that to adjust the octane. I've reached out to a friend of mine that works at a lab, see what their petroleum lab can run for MON / RON...
there's no great answer. You can make your own ethanol free fuel but its a PITA and to do it correct you need to get your hands on some anhydrous magnesium sulphate, or waste a couple litres of fuel each round. Use a water reducer and hope that it pulls some of the ethanol with it. Chevron...
we've been over this as well (back in May). Lawnmowers don't like av / race gas either.....my mower on C12.....you need to blend it......or burn it. LOL
I don't know specifically who buys it, probably high school kids with tuner cars who think it gives them more power. If most people like yourself are just buying straight 91 / 94 then it supports the point even more that it gets cycled frequently and folks need to be less concerned about stale...
You can get away with it, its not great for them but they will tolerate it for a while, just don't expect the same longevity out of the sensor. for what its worth, I had 3 seasons on my mod sled O2 sensor and it was still working fine when I sold it, running 100% AV 100LL.
We've been over this...
