bullch!t. You act like there never was a 180 HP snowmobile that took a jump before. Guys have been well north of 250 HP with boosted sleds for years and not had issues. Even the yamaha guys with big torque can get better life out of a chain.
This has always been the problem with this area, there is too much mis-information around it. Island Lake Lodge (ILL and ILRG) and Powder Cowboy used to have a brokered land agreement with the FSA and Fernie Ski Touring Club that Thunder Meadows and the cabin were non-motorized (independent of...
pretty much lien check anything you intend to buy IMO unless you really trust the source. Anyone who is on the level will not have an issue with doing a vehicle history search and a lien search., takes about $15 and 10 mins online and you have the results in like an hour The sled might be paid...
sure it will explode if you heat it....or pressurize it.....or both. :p I'd advise against doing either if you're face is near it. LOL . but at ambient pressure and temp it does not vapourize and therefore is not volatile like gasoline.
Lots of this blame lies on financing. There will be lots of buyers remorse in the next year or so, seeing it already on Kijijii, go look at the sleds 200-500 kms, search 2023 Ski Doo Summit and there's like 5 on the first page alone. Gone are the buy high and sell high or higher days I think...
Have a 2008 XP 146, 8734 kms. only running on 1 cylinder, compressions still good in the other one, no seat and the track is missing half the paddles. Lady driven, never been over 7000 rpm. Will let it go for $12,500. No low ballers, I know what I have.
If its freezing there you have too much humidity I think. Fan for circulation? Otherwise try something simple like cooking spray or vaseline on the rubber.
Thought I'd see a thread about this by now but didn't. Not sure if those 2 riders are members here but condolences to the family and friends of the rider who passed away, article says he was fronm GP. Rest in Peace...
