Just got back from Sicamous. There is absolutely no snow in the town which is odd and makes it difficult for staging. We rode Quest on March 1st and 4th. You have to drive to km 4.5 before you see any snow whatsoever, this is the best spot for staging and only area we could turn around with...

Thank you. I guess the only way to see what it is like is to just go. I am a fairly new rider... been out Valemont 3 time, and have never experienced heavy powder. I think my 08 800 XP is craving some bottomless powder.

Thinking about getting out to Valemount or Blue River before x-mas. In the past only been sledding Jan-March. Curious what the conditions are like in December. Some guys say tons of powder but no base, spend all day getting stuck going downhill, other guys love it.
