Is the valve closed for your heated carbs? Buddy of mine forgot his on and whenever he stopped, the carbs vaporized the gas in the float bowls and it would have difficulty starting.
I have both an 09 M1000 Sno Pro 163" and a 09 XP 164" and I love the M1000. 300 miles on the M1000 with same belt. Rides as good as the XP only issue is it is a bit harder on fuel. Both are good sleds but the XP had solenoid issues first time up the hill and then minor problems with electronics...

I know a couple of guys with King Signs out of Edmonton that go out of their way to save the $15 pass. I think it is lame when guys have thousands in new sleds but are too cheap to pay for grooming. Maybe we should start calling out these types...
I have an 09 M1000 Sno Pro and it burns about as much fuel as my 09 XP. There is a recall on the torque of the fuel connection so maybe you are losing fuel and not burning it. Call your dealer and give them the serial number so they can check. Good Luck

Its been two months and I got tried of waiting. Sold my 08 XP X and bought 09 M1000 Sno Pro. I am fine with the recalls as long as they get to them. Sorry skidoo, never again.
