It is just past the junction of the Coal Creek Trail and the Doug Dean trail thru the rolling hills if you are coming from Fernie.
If you come in from Wranglers /Corbin it is at the end of the groomed Doug Dean trail thru the rolling hills

tembec/canfor has indicated they will be logging for the next 2 year ...so it looks like Morrisey is closed for now.
FSA will be grooming the Coal Creek trail up past the new Rolling Hills cabin and through to the Wranglers cabin

I sent it over to the dealer in Lethbridge and they could find nothing wrong ...said they had never heard of the problem.
I will pick it up and check the red wire!!!!
Our 09 Summit 800 has been towed out twice now.....
Will not restart after shutting off...no spark
In both cases it had been stopping and starting ok.
After towing out it started fine next day.
We took it in to the dealer and of course it works fine...they did a full check and could find nothing...
Tembec has finished working at the Morrissey access point and will not be plowing the road any more....so it open to sleds.
Please do NOT take trailers up the road past the parking lots and you may want to carry chains ;the road will be ice on the lower section and there are NO turn around...

Avalanche danger in Fernie / Lizard Range is HIGH right now - yesterday a snowmobile triggered an avalanche in McDermid area - no one buried / injured. A cat-skier was caught at Island Lake on Thursday - had to be airlifted to Calgary. Check the avalanche.ca website for further details of...
A quick update on the garbage situation at the Wrangler's Cabin .... since the postings on snowandmud on the state of the cabin, which was followed up by a good cleaning by the Fernie Snowmobile Assn members, the cabin has been kept very clean. So thanks to all sledders who are packing out...
Yesterday Sunday Feb 10 the garbage was taken out and the toilet cleaned up ..... this was done by volunteers of the Fernie Snowmobile Assn ... Thanks to whomever had already bagged up some garbage.
But it would sure help if guys packed out what they took in. Volunteers get tired of cleaning...
You can stage at Morrissey - 10 km sth / west on Hwy 3 - turn on Morrissey Rd (at the FWA catski sign) go about 5 km up road; or you can stage at coal creek - turn R at the Fas Gas down town and follow the blue snowmobile signs. Both take you to the Wranglers cabin - and from there to the...
