It was the better deal for sure
ha ha....no didn't forget. She did manage to find a few things though...who is this Michael Kors guy anyways. Don't think he makes sled parts.lol
but u never could go back to that dealer again...ever! lol.
So I ended up picking up a 2019 summit x 165 w/shot. Dropped wifey at chinook mall and needed something to doo. With a little google search i found bow cycle south to b 7mins away. Not sure what she spent but spent a grand total of $17000. I couldn't get a holdover any cheaper really. Dave was...
would have loved to give an Alpha a rip.
Ha Ha....Love the reliable power and the way those things sound. don't like the weight for tree riding. Although they say u can knock of an easy 50lbs and handle pretty well.
Anyone jumping ship this year to another brand? looking at purchasing a new sled but haven't decided on what. Thinking a 19 Gen4 165 or a Holdover, depending price savings. Possibly a new 850 Polaris if I could get one.
What are the holdover 18's going for in alberta?
Cheers!
I've yet to make a decision on what to buy, but time is running out for a snow check . Holding off till last min to maybe read some more ride reviews. would have liked to see a side by side comparison with an alpha. whatever I end up with I'm sure it will get turboed .
I know of one possibly two 2018 Snowcheck 800 Axys, both with sidekick BD, one has a 163x3.2 track the other is a 163x2.6 track.. maybe 500 klm most on both and both belt drive.. Both sleds were set up by the local BD dealer/head Polaris mechanic.. He actually owns the one, he sets up new one...
Thanks for the input!
Mixed riding but mostly trees. I'm riding an XM T3 174 BD Turbo right now. It's not the sidekick but the Tial/intercooled kit. 0 issues with the turbo and pulls like a tractor, but the 174 is a bit much for me @ 175 lbs. Looking a getting a 163 and 36" ski stance. Can buy...
The 850 sounds promising for sure. But what's your thoughts on an holdover with a sidekick turbo for about the same money? Haven't rode a sidekick or even been around one.
Cheers!
When idling, sometimes the guage displays a battery light. The sled is a 2015 summit xm non electric start. It idles pretty low so not sure if that as something to do with it or not. Anyone seen this before.
I talked to mots today. roughly $2100 and they'll do a crank/pistons and rods. They deal with cvtech and do custom work also. If u just want a crank, bring them yours and get them to make you whatever u want.
I'll check Those out.
From what I gather brp only ran the NGK IR IFR8AG plug for one season 2015. They don't even list these in the parts catalog, and shop manual has the pfr7ab listed. Apparently there was lots of fouled plugs with the 8ag.
Thanks
Which spark plugs r u guys running in your turbo xm. Mine is a 2015 and came with the NGK IR IFR8AG PLUGS. Most of u guys just running the stock PFR7AB plugs and gap.
