I'm a true Ski-doo guy nowadays but growing up we were arctic cat. I'm not old but I'm wise enough to know that the more brands there are the better it is for the industry as a whole. I'm happy they came to an agreement!
Just curious if anybody has cut their tunnels to make an expert out of their standard sled. Is it alot of work, is it worth the battle? I'm curious, all i can find is guys that order a shorter cooler and take everything apart. Easier ways?
Just get a set of Elka shocks and all will be fixed. I got my friend to put stage 5's on his hardcore and he wishes that would have been his first mod!
Could'nt agree more Maxwell. A factory turbo is what everyone has been wanting and hoping to predict during the Snowcheck season for 10 years.. they get what they asked for...still not good enough!
I would highly recommend Elka as an option especially for customizing to your riding style. As for the 850 Turbo there was already 2 out of 3 rentals that were in the shop last weekend. One with a fuel pump that was shot and the other with waste gate module that no longer works! just my 2 cents
Just a heads up with all the Elka setups, when you turn dials in it goes stiffer, turn dials out (counterclockwise)it goes softer. Rule of thumb if you have the shock details when you got your package it should show
how many clicks back(counterclockwise) from all the way in your clickers are...
I haven't rode chetwynd in the ;ast 3 years before january because of the low snow conditions, I've doen core lodge because i can stay on the logging road haha
Still thin out there. Report from sunday saying there is approx 100cm of snow in Silversands. Not worth the drive, it'll probably mid January Before we can go.
