This is why i bought a second sled instead of only one turbo last fall. It didn't make sense for me to drive 11hrs to revy for a week, have a sled go down and have to rent at $500 a day. It makes payments on a new sled really quick! Now I run a 165" for deep days and a new Lynx 154 for most...
I love my Doos and now my Lynx, grew up on cat. I will honestly agree with lilduke on this one. Throughout all my years I'm 31 154" 153" is the way to go as an overall length as he'll have more fun and he'll be able to show off more. 850 doo 154, you can't beat fit/finish and reliability.
Great to know, I've always known to keep momentum because did roughly 4 mountain seasons with 146" 2.25" summits in the mountains. It'll be intersting!
Thank you I'm beyond excited, I'm curious as to how good the 2.5 is going to do in the deep. I'm used to 3" so if i'm not a fan I'll put a 3inch on it!
Got my Lynx last saturday, smaller gauge but not an issue as I only use it to check my RPM's a couple times a day! I got both my 165 SP and DS3900 pretty much ready to ride. Just a few more Goodies to add as they arrive!
The old one for now, but thats no issues i only look at it a couple times a day for RPM checks. Sounds like there is no promise ship date on the 4.5" Gauges.
Absolutely, it makes it much easier to do re-entries, bowties and mainly Hop overs. You don't realize how much the tunnel acts as a big wheelie bar till you try a sled with a short tunnel!
Quite a few of my buddies have them, they say it takes a bit to get used to but they're so nice. I've tried some on before and its different but I think they'll also be nice just to kneel in the snow for longer periods of time and not be as cold. Lot's of Benefits, like I said before most other...
My buddy Kolin has had his for quite a few years, and for the price theyre better than any other brand with better protection. All other brands are like $700+ per leg
