    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

Had a great day of riding on Frisbie. Vis was not great at times but we did see the sun and blue sky for a short time. So far this year this has been the best snow. About 3 ft of fresh on a good base.

    Rino 650 or 655T

Look for some feed back on which rino to get for use around Revy area. Anyone know if the topo maps that come preloaded on the 655T work for in the Revy area or should I just get the 650 and load topo. What's you thoughts, is the 655T worth the extra $100

New XM needed towing out in Revy.

Not sure who you are Ryan0402 but this is not your sled that I towed out of Revy last Saturday. If you're going to use someone elses picture you should at lease state that it's not yours. The sled I towed out had a broken fuel line off the fuel pump. It was the first day on this sled so I...

    Best tree riding around Revy?

Lots of great tree riding below and west of the cabin on Bolder if there is enough snow to cover the logs. Should great next weekend by the forecast. Freebie is great below the cabin also but have to watch for the open creeks at this time of year. White out days are great days to go exploring

    Xm can thread

I have been running the "Thing Cooker" can for two full seasons on my 2011 etec and now have 100 miles on my XM. No issues at all. We have 5 in our group two on the Pro's and three on XM's. If you want a great sounding can and the ability to have hot food you can't go wrong with the "Thing"...

when is the computer done with break in on xm. Does anything flash on display?

The breakin mode will be complete once you have burned 80 liters of fuel. The harder you ride the sooner you'll have full power from your etec. There isen't a hugh difference that is noticed. You should see a reduction in oil usage and smoother operation.

    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

The pictures don't even do justice to how good the sledding is in Revy right now. The coverage is great with a good base. Our group went into spots this past weekend that we don't normally get too this early in the season.

    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

By the looks of the weather this week you should be able to park at the 3k area on Frisbie by the weekend. The road up was very icy starting at about 4.5kms this past weekend but with the new snow down low you should not need to drive up that far.

    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

Here's a few more pictures from where we were unloading. Notice how icy the road is. On sat a truck pulling a flat deck tailer slid backward on an icy corner just after the 5k sign on Frisbie. The trailer ended up over the bank but luckily his truck didn't. His truck had allseason tires...

    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

Had a good weekend out in Revy. Snow was not as good as I had hoped but that being said it was still good enough to get the first 200kms on the XM with my buddies. Here's a few pictures.

    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

Our group rode Frisbie today. The conditions were not what I had hoped for since the last storm came through. Was good to put a few miles on the new sleds but that's about it. Not really worth driving a long ways to come here. I would way a few more weeks if your expecting good snow.

Sled Recoveries in Revy and Area

Where your sled brakes down is the key deciding factor as to how much it will cost you to get it out. If you ride Keystone, Area 51, Hall, Caribou or any area in Sicamous it could cost you over $1000 to get it flown out. In some situation you will have no choice but in many areas you may have...

    after riding the 2013...thoughts

Got my chance to demo a 2013 summit x 154 in Revy Sunday. The new changes were for the most part improvements but I would not say a game changer compaired to the 2011 or 2012 summits. Yes the you notice the difference the T-motion and flexible track makes. I would say that if you have a 11 or 12...

    Official REVY Riding conditions 2012/13

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12 Its been raining down low but snowing above 4w000 ft. The snow is great with about a foot or better of fresh. If you get off the main travelled areas the snow is amazing. The top areas are very wind blown. Definitely worth the trip out.
