After going out on my last trip I noticed that the nos didn't seem to be coming on the second day. When I got home I removed the nozzle jet and sure enough the nozzle was plugged with something again. Not a big deal and easy to get at. Just remove the nozzle and use a small pin to clean the plug...
I know there is lots of negative posts on the Raze ecu and Ninja backup kits but I can tell you that they do work. I was like others and was disappointed at first but now I couldn't be happier.
The bike starts great, runs strong and never flames out. The nitrous system is awesome for adding...
Ya that's a great feature. Too back Raze didn't make that a standard feature on all ninja kits. I think it would have saved them lots of complaints and frustration for buyers.
I will have to get them to add that option on my ecu next time I get in contact with them.
When I first got my kit it was very noticeable when the nos was working. Two other kits in our group didn't seem to notice any added performance. We worked through Raze and they did some reprogramming and still no real improvement.
Since than some of the things we have learned is that you...
Some of the race model bikes have light flywheels. This allows the motor to rev quicker. That's great but the trade off is that you don't has as much inertia turning the motor between compression strokes. So sometime when you left off quickly you can have a flame out. With wheels the bike rolls...
What bike did you have this on? Are you in Canada or US?
Thanks for the info. I wish more would reply because you are correct. They have sold a lot of kits but I'm seeing very little feedback on how they are working. So far they are a disappointment but I'm still hoping they are working to...
Season number 2 with the raze setup. No top end so hopefully it will perform as expected. Is anyone else in Canada having good performance with the raze ninja setup??
Thought I would start a new thread to talk about the Raze Wingman and Nitrous kits.
Raze has spent lots of time developing these kits and now that they have sold a lot of kits this year real world testing is in full swing. Unfortunately just like every other new product the true results don't...
It really depends on whether you have a sled and a bike or just a bike. I've had both long and short track timbersled kits and like the feel of the short track better but I also have a sled. So if there is fresh deep snow I like to ride my sled. If they haven't had new snow and it's setup or...
My dealer told me that the ratio was adjustable on the 2017 but not on the 2018. I wish they would have just left the two separate like previous years.
I find the hand heaters warm but not the thumb.
Re: DJ Clutch kit Ricks
This thing with Joe is he rides and learns by testing and having others test for him. If you want real world results you can't go wrong with a DJ clutch kit.
Up until about 3 weeks ago Joe didn't have kits available for the 850 but he does now and is busy getting...
Just got back from a three day trip to Revy with my 2018 850 Summit X 154 T3. Last trip I ran stock but this trip I had the DJ clutch kit installed. Wow what a difference this clutch kit makes to the overall performance of this sled.
To compare what this clutch kit did we had a stock 2017 850...
We rode Frisbie yesterday and it was amazing condition for this time of year. The RSC ran the groomer up in the after noon to put the trail in. Yes there still lots of hazards out there but that's normal for this time of year. If you avoid lumps and bumps and stay off the top or open areas where...
