I have had both, pro and XM - no way is the XM easier to get unstuck than a pro. The pro is amazing how it just pops on top of the snow when stuck with usually just a ski pull - I'm not a blinded dootard. Both are great sleds - both do some things better than the other, you can't go wrong with...
