Sorry for the delay in replies folks. Was away for a bit.
We currently have openings for an AST2 from Jan 11-14 and if there are a few that cant make this date, we can build another one that works for you and we will work towards filling it with the minimum.
Dont be shy, send us an email and...

Please remember that this has NOTHING to do with GREED of the BCSF and I wish this type of talk would end. They are the good guys. This was their MEMBERSHIP that voted them to do this! (maybe a knee jerk reaction like voting in the NDP in alberta ) I would bet dollars to pesos that they...
I was at this meeting. And this is an unfortunate example of where democracy and good ol' Roberts Rules can kick us in the ass. The vote was in favor of producing a second draft of the plan as the first was really not based off of much hard data (and not a lot of data at that, as clubs would...
Remember Mike, your transceivers strength could be affected by several other factors. First being battery strength and age, then things like electronic or metal interference, position and flux line orientation in the test etc. Dont take one test and make a decision. Try it a couple of times...
We are down about 30% in ridership, accommodation and service usage. I think people are being more choosy this season with their trips as they may not be able to make as many of them and are trying to hit the good conditions with the few trips they have. The town is feeling it for sure...
Just wanted to pass along a little write up from last week in mountain sledder. Please take some time to give it a good read.
We see this happening so much on the mountain and we are all guilty of it. So many riders are making decisions and taking risks out there that they know are...
I have always been comfortable on the yamaha chassis, since the nytro. The viper wasnt for me, but I was very comfortable on the nytro and as well now on the sidewinder. Honestly, I can jump from my doo to this without any awkwardness and I cannot do this with a cat or poo due to steering...
I have to admit, I rode the sidewinder this weekend and it was a super cool sled. Power was addicting and the chassis rides very well in the snow. Niner, I believe that was yours that I was on? lol...dont know your forum name.
Props to yamaha, that chasis felt very comfortable, power for days...
WOW, that one in upper superbowl was new as of today. Was not there yesterday. Thats a big sucker.
The others, I believe we saw them all yesterday, I even called one as we drove by stating that it would be triggered by the time we got back (near backside of old hillclimb) and yup, sure was...
Yup but its thin and super slabby. The drop of doom is very thin and mainly stumps and rocks. Access beyond third bowl is non existent IMO unless you dont mind straightling some rocks. Trees are good..lol
Man.....what is the world coming too?....the poor guy whose sled had to be left on the mountain and then choppered out due to an electrical issue had both of his belts stolen....so now on top of a heli bill he is out 400 in belts....this is disgusting.
Interested in hearing riders thoughts on the latest write up regarding sled compaction and the ways it may influence our decision making as riders
The Effects of CompactionMountain Sledder Magazine
This has been an interesting read. I certainly appreciate everyone's passion. After all, we all have one thing in common, we are all sledders.
I truly believe that the great people at the BCSF need funding to help further the future of our sport although I do not believe that this is the...
For those asking about conditions, exactly what do you want to know that was not posted in the blog? I too believe the information is important to help educate others and avoid additional tragedy. I will help as much as I can although with incidents like this, the info just does not flood out...
