I was told when I got my 09 Rhino NOT to spin the tires going in reverse in 2WD OR you will take out that gear in the rear diff. I never did BUT two of my buddies did. Wasn't too bad of a job. 3-4 hours but also a little foggy having pops....
None of our machines ( 8 commanders playing) have had any issues with axles at all. Actually, no real problems of any kind short of needing to learn how to drive a machine with a sled clutch. So a few belts got a little glazed but thats learning.
Matt's machine will look very cool when its...
Yeah, with the Commanders we have a bit of dealer back up. BUT, if we start destroying these Can Am's I'm sure we'll have issues. Still I had 36 months with no added costs, but I guess they got me with the pricing.
Wow.... big shock. All that power... axles will snap. We broke enough in Rhino's and we all know what kind of power they had. Now these new Polaris and Can Am's have all this juice. Not a big shocker. I'm sure we'll have our share as well with our Commanders. Hope our supply is better and can...
Hi everyone... I'm looking for a very good lock-chain or cable to secure my toys. I'm having a hard time finding something I want to spend my cash on... I also need a length of 15' to 30' and a covering so I don't damage rims and body work. Any ideas? I also realize mostly anything can be cut...
T-Team.... nice pic of Commander in the creek eh. These guys like going in to no mans land. They were telling me the story and I didn't think it was that bad. Funny. I'll post that one... Yeah it was Jimmy's machine.
Cool.
Which one?
Man I love these machines. Had so much fun in the dunes on the weekend. Lots of fun. Scary at times but I always have this evil grin when I'm done. Couple places I couldn't get up but the sand was seriously loose and no time to get the rev's up. Scared the crap out of my Dad a...
I like the Pro Armors... they are a pain to install. I did notice the Blingstars open differently and give you easier access than PA doors. I think PA has a better latch system based on photo's I've seen. Also, I've had quite a few PA parts on various machines and I never had any issues. These...
Actually... not a roll cage. These guys go so deep in nasty country they made bush bars. Keeps the brush away from you and doesn't beat your machine up. Mine is the one without them. I'm not sold on them either. Look better on Rhino's than Commanders but they work very well and can be removed in...
Here's a few pics of the Growlers and a May ride.
After taking 6 Commanders into the bush for our first rides. Three solid days of serious abuse and except for one slightly bent tie rod....
NO PROBLEMS.
Not even a punctured tire... nothing.
Can Am made a seriously tough machine.
Everyone's...
When I can get some of my guys together I'll post photos. They seed in very nice and the rings are set perfect. With the growlers extra protection on the outer bead they closed up really well. I just don't know how hard they were to change over... I will post pics soon...
Good choices...
Pro Armors work great. PM me when you get them. I have some tricks to make the install much easier.
Wait for the electronics... I've been waiting for a vendor to make a full ECU replacement like an MSD. The ITC is pain if you are an aggressive rider. Its only matter of time for...
I rode with a guy last season that had one of the first one's in Alberta. Very neat machine. Very long but comfortable. Turning was challenging in the area we were in, but he did well. He also had his buddy and their two kids along. Storage was okay for a day ride. I never had the opportunity to...
GSXRBOY.... check in the states. Found some good deals. Check Todd Custom Billet, they had good pricing for Commander stuff. But, really search down south. Freight is pricy but compared to what we pay up here.... I would and have on a lot of parts for out Commanders. I had a quote from TCB to...
