I jinxed myself good.
3rd time limping out my piece of crap sled.
Multiple engine codes. No power. Almost left her in the bush.
First time I got a whole new engine harness. Second time I got a new fuel pump and plugs. And now again. Wonder what's next.

Got a new fuel pump and spark plugs .. she rips so freaking hard now .. I think I was always missing something from the fuel department .. my plugs probably half fouled from my 10:1 oil usage ratio lol .. . damn this love / hate relationship
Here's an follow up to my original post
I'm at 2500 km now .. and since my last post, I have yet to blow a belt. I've had many hard deep days where I was expecting her to blow any minute.
Last time my sled went into the shop the following happened:
1- engine came out due to water pump leak
2-...
Incorrect.. Calibration is NOT wrong .. there's something else wrong and noone quite knows what it is.
I probably own one of the biggest belt eaters around so I know the pains... I had a loaner 850 from my shop and rode it through one of the deepest 3 days of the year ... All bone stock, most...
correct .. its been to the dealer many times and it's there right now
I will post an update once i get her back and monitor my oil usage and belt temps
I've had a loaner 850 for the last 2 days and I can tell you with certainty that the belt issue has nothing to do with clutch calibration, or...
the engine didn't go down, the wheels didn't fall off ..
just making a public service announcement in case someone else is out there having the same issue
keep your dumbass comments to yourselves.
I didnt see any oil while i was doing my regular maintenance / clutch cleaning... and you are correct .. it went un noticed until the engine came out for water pump leaks .. luckily I am not paying for belts .. but I sure did pay for all that oil .. my dealer is going to try and get some free...
I've been complaining about my oil consumption since it finished break in (and have gotten roasted for it people calling me cheap or whatever)...
and I'm on belt #11 at 1700 km (also gone through 11 jugs of oil)
My motor came out because of a few other issues and dealer found a substantial...
My buddy's kit came with different size bolts. One was slightly longer than the other 2 and weighted 1 gram more.
Don't just slap them in! Check them first.

Joey. Be glad to test for you at 5000-8000. 1700km and 9 belts. I'm a prime candidate ;)
I've done the basics. Spring and weights. Got some Ramps and a sprocket coming this week too. Have little hopes of actually fixing the problem though.
