No.. wire your own plug
I only measured once when sled was bone stock, no fan, no vents, all the foam in and after rigorous abuse i was reading about 200* .. which is way better than the 240-260 i was getting on my 17 with clutching / gearing mods and vents.
If we get another deep day before...
No need to remount the fan. Just change the polarity.
And I disagree. I’m gonna keep it on suck mode ;)
Got lots of fresh air coming in from the bottom added vents.
After much consideration I’ve ordered DJ kit and awaiting its arrival.
What got me is lower / smoother engagement and better price.
I’m sure both kits will provide better belt grip and lower temps.
BJs kit is a skidoo secondary spring and his custom ramps with adjustable tip weight.
DJs...
How old can it be. It’s a blue sled !
But I’m amazed on how dirty it is ....
Bad casting ?
Sheered off helix bolts (happened to me last year but didn’t end up like that at all!)
Broken rollers ?
Time for new clutches under warranty.
At least they’ll be clean now lol.
I had this by my footwell under the primary but it kept getting jammed with snow and blowing the fuse.
Much better location here. Just cut the hole a big bigger and added some side panel vents. Works great!
no dealer should / would charge you for a 15 minute plug in job !!
i do like the new switch style, you can hit them easily while riding ... i guess there was room for a thumb heater but what the heck .. can't have it all :)
I'm so glad my dealer installed this for me .. incorrectly lol
that being said, I havent even bothered to put the snowflap on my sled ... havent needed it on the trails. kinda feel bad for my buddies who are behind lol
Check out our Avy course up at Brohm Ridge this year.
Wicked course, accommodations and meals at our legendary cabin at a great price.

If you have a grade 8 bolt you are good.
I removed two none graded bolts from my sled and replaced them with grade 8 bolts supplied by my dealer and torqued them.
Some sleds got inferior hardware. That’s it.
Don’t try to tighten them if your bolts are not grade 8
