Go to West Castle ski area ( Far SE end), then ride SW. It is easy to find.

Steve at Stones Throw in Blairmore is also going to do the Muff Pot meals. We tried his Muff Lasagna last week and it was great. They also have great food.

Chippers is tiny. Fast food. They were set up at Fas Gas this past summer. forgot about the highwood Which is good with cheaper rooms, Parking and a restaraunt. Their is also a fast food burger place across the street ( Sidetracks) which make great burgers.

Is their lounge actually open this year?????? Cause it wasn't last year all the time. They are great people, but if the lounge is not open and no food you have to cook your own.

Hard to say. I am off to the Crow sled meeting tonight, so I will see if their is any more mention on this. I talked to a guy that works out their ( Mine),,, and he confirmed that is what he has heard as well. The parking on the road will be a horror show for sure with all the truck traffic...

They will not plow the road North of the staging area like last year. The parking lot I am not sure of, but if it has been plowed already, then I am sure they will.

Well I have back country skiied and skiied at that resort a lot over the past 15 years and their reports are quite suspect most of the time, not saying that they are suspect thus far this year, but they have been a lot in the past;)
