I run a BD race gas kit and run a 50-50 110 octane with premium gas. My pre mix is 40 to1. My premium air fuel is between 11 and 12 and its very happy with 10lbs of boost once I hit higher elevations. Down low I run 6-7lbs. I put on 3500 miles last year with no major problems. Watch what you run...
Gonna be a lot of people on Crowfoot over the weekend especially with the open house at the cabin. Gonna ride Lichen on the first if anybody is interested. At least 4 in our group. Very doubtful that anybody will be in there. Seems like everyone passes this place by.
got back from revy last night. Conditions were poor.Snowed for two days straight. Had to break the trail back in on tue. Couldn't even see a track. Got to the first Ravine and visibility got really bad. Played in the tree's a bit. Second day we tried again and again we had to re break the trail...
Be there from the 27th to the first staying at Peaks lodge. I'm pretty familiar with some of the area's. Headed there today for a couple of days of fresh powder in Turtle
Like I was saying, the 1000 is heavier than the 800 there is no denying that period! Was in the same position as you. She now rides an M8 and is way more confident and happy!!
I found that the best idea was to buy a M-8. the 1000 is def. heavier and you have to ride them more aggressive. If she's just learning than it will be tough. I went thru the same problem. Now she feels more comfortable and confident. What r u riding? Maybe trade her and c how she feels.
Head towards Revy. Once you hit the Malakwa 500 (4 lane) go half way down and turn right at the Blue lk. snowmobile sign (across from the closed gas station ect...) and follow the signs up off the frontage rd. to the unloading lot. From there, it's groomed to the cabin
