Is there anyone else running there 2016's across the fields and having the same issues? I've driven a nytro with 10" simmons for 8 years, so I need to learn how to drive these new lightweight narrow sleds. But I'm worried about oversteering the sled and loosing control and also dropping down in...
I like the handling in the mountains, very agile, flickable, but in the fields I find the front end very nervous and the skis like to hunt and oversteer. I can't really open up the sled. I've increased pressure in the front skid shock which helped somewhat. Should I get wider skis, longer a arms?
I was just wondering what would be the best thing to do, buy a set of low elevation weights for 2000 feet and lower, or just buy the Dalton's and fine tune without exchanging the weights before each
mountain trip.
After a bunch of reading/research I picked up a 16 m8000 ltd. The 3" track works very well. The evol shocks work great once you dial them in, so much adjustability it makes your head spin. The clutching works great, they upgraded the chain and gears also. For 3 grand, go 16 all the way, very...
First day at revy with the new 2016 cat. I'm noticing the skis like to dive when boondocking in the meadows. I thought these new skis were working good? Do I need to set up my front shock pressure in the skid?
Well, I'm thinking about going with the 2016 800 ltd 153. They have great rebates on the 16's, with 3 year warranty. I like the updates on the new cats, front end, clutches, rear skid, hyvo chain, skis, 3" track, evol shocks, etc. Lots of good reports on the 2016 so far.
Looking at getting a lightweight 800 for the mountains. Which sled is better for mountains and some flatland riding. Not really worried about getting the highmark, more about boondocking and easy to throw around.
Thinking of going to a m8000 162. There are some good deals on 2015's, but I heard the 2016's have a lot of good upgrades? Or should a guy wait for 2017, and hope they build the new c-tech 800?
