My sled was awesome on belts..., until my last trip, I blew one, then blew two more within 60 Kms. The sled has around 500 miles, not one belt, then all a sudden, in really heavy wet snow, blew one, then two more the next day. It's peeling the top layer off, seems like alignment is out?
Anyone install a 9-11 cover? I ordered the special tool from cat to remove the jam nut, but I've read this can be kinda tricky to remove because of the green loctite that cat uses. Anyone else have success removing this nut?
I'll take some pics. It's basically the oil cooler, guard, and bracket mounted in between the seats around head height. All you have to do with the lines is to heat them up and reroute them, they are very pliable.
Ok. I'll try the jaws. It's around 5" , so it should fit. I think the reason why the mbrp didn't fit was the previous owner installed a manual tensioner which pushed the oil line out a couple inches.
I tried to install a mbrp trail can and it appears to be rubbing on the oil line. The sled came with a 3" straight pipe which is too loud for my liking. It looks like a 5" diameter can would fit ok, or I have to reroute the oil line, which I don't want to do. What's a good can to get that's not...
