In kakwa we do have a small amount of mountain riding still in Alberta. Mouse cache creek/horn ridge, this area is still open and is a nice ride being it is only about 20km from camp. Mount May area is close but used to be a great trip, some of this one could be in BC.

Well camp is all in ready for snow! Roads were a bit icy yesterday but +8 this morning, still shiny so chains are recommended if you are pulling a camp in.

There is some nasty washed out areas, that being said I've seen stock 4x4 pickups out there. A quad is easily the best way to go.

Well camp set is on Saturday. Hopefully we get copious amounts of fresh powder and beautiful bluebird days.

I still ride my tapex and a 190 mpi viper soon to become a boost it ho. Being I have 50km of trail each way to the ungroomed my sleds ride very flat. I sidehill some but not into doing it all day. If the snow is really deep not much ever goes where the tapex will go. But I know you know this...

Absolutely love to shoot the 257 packs a big punch for a small cal and zero kick.

Get into reloads, buddy and I reload my 257 to 117 hornady shoots wicked fast and extremely accurate. Any quality ammo for a bee is close to 120 a box or more. I buy thr 100grain for 69.00 and shoot coyotes, wolves or Bambi's just to get the brass.

We use them at work with the kenworth tires and trailer tires. They work well.
