Yeah the locker is nice. All of our work trucks are fords, though gassers and I use the locker often.
A C7 is on my wish list but I don’t think it’s in the budget even though they are blowing out the leftover Stingrays for $55k or less.
Yeah I am not into buying first year stuff but since it’s not a complete new model, just a tranny change it doesn’t concern me as much. Shifting algorithms can be adjusted with software updates.
That being said I was eyeing up a 19 holdover Lariat Sport with the 6 speed which is what started...
That’s only 34” but sure I get what you are saying. The new off-road package is a true 35x12.5-18 Minor but still more than what the other guys offer and with that comes a decent width 9.5”rim over the stock 8” that every other model comes with so you can run true 35” without crowning your tire.
That title should get at least some attention.
I want to hear from the late model Ford guys, guys who wrench on Fords, guys who know everything about Fords. I don’t want to hear from the internet expert GM owners. Lol
Having gone from GM for a few HD trucks to Ram’s current model I can’t help...
I for one like the Polaris tracks. They are stiff when new but after a few hundred km break in and the lugs fold over nicely. The 2.4 was a great track during its time, the 2.6 even better. I am not a fan of the Polaris 3”. Even in the 174 it works okay and suits that track length but it’s not...
Why did it have the motor replaced before you bought it? What occurred the first time is what I would want know as it may have lead to the second failure.
When the motor was replaced did they put it back into break in mode?
Definitely check the oil lines as they were an issue on a few 19’s.
I am a realist.
As a life long Oilers fan hope can only last so long when the last 13 years have been a constant hope. Going back to even the mid 90’s of hopeless seasons through the somewhat hopeful 2000’s but I digress. Any Oilers fan understands hope because that’s all we have since the...
Thermostat was updated, pipe sensor was updated and changed. Mapping different though it’s likely possible to update the earlier sleds. Exhaust valve bushings were rumoured to be updated as well.
Ran into him today and checked it out. He actually said he wants a shorter riser.
The post mod pushes the post almost 6” forward. You get quite a bit more over the sled and it’s a different feeling for sure but I liked how my arms and wrists were positioned. The bend of the bar felt more...
