COOL, I did well in the grass drags and took home trophies in three classes,first 600stk, first600imp and third 700stk. I think it was in that order or first 600stk, 700stk and third 600imp. I was there in 2002 and 03 with my 600.:D

I tried that once but was'nt happy with the belt match up so I put the cat primary and secondary with a cat belt and wow it worked very good. This was on a 583 doo engine in a poo chasey. I think the cat primary works as good as a p85 you just have to know what spring and weights you need to...
I did have a shock once sieze on my sled one year and it wouldnt retract after being compresed so it can happen.Disconnect the shock and see if it comes back up.Also after takeing the shock out measure the expanded length to see if it is at spec.
ZRrrr, there are cheater head kits, I have one on my xc600sp and it works awsome, you cant tell it's there. I run 87 octane on a 92 octane kit because we are at 2,300 feet elevation so it's ok. I also have pyro's to keep an eye on temps. You can also lower your cylinders to change port timming...
