The reason that they do the update is that when they make the m1000 motor, alot of the fuel pumps have different fuel pressures(Because they were made at different places) This results in some sleds running great, some running to lean,etc. So to stop blown motors coming back on warranty because...

I have the 08 1000 with the update's and i have a slp pipe set with v-Force reeds and a boon docker box. I seem to have it running well with the boondocker box. i have not been to the mountains yet but so far it works.

The gap is very small, i just bought them used and i was looking at them really hard in the sun light and noticed a very slight space on a couple of the reeds.

I was looking at my V-Force reeds And noticed an ever so slight gap between the reed and where it is supose to contact the reed cage. Is this a problem? If so do i have to change the reeds? The reeds have about 200 miles on them. They are not chipped. Thanks.

I had the update done on my 08 1000. It does like rigrat said. I had i done at the end of the year so i have not rode it much. Although i did notice it loading up on the bottom to mid. I am now trying to lean it out with a y pipe and more air, So far seems alot better. I will need to run it more...

I need some help! I have a 08 M1000 with the 09 update. It ran fine before the update, now it runs quite rich on the bottom and midrange. i was told that i could now add a Y pipe and also open up my airbox to allow more air. I did this and it did improve the bottom and mid range. I have not had...

I just bought a dvx 400 this year, and i love it. I ride with utility quads and it keeps up just fine. It is the funnest quad i have ever had.

How much riding is there? Is there enough for an entire weekend?

Glengine are you doing any thing with the primary. I keep hearing about the d&d orange spring. Any thoughts? my sled is stock, i ride in Mcbride and weigh about 260#. I am a good rider and i will be putting on the Rk Tec kit. The sled is a 162 Track. Thanks for any info.

Hello Glengine have you put many of these RK Tec clutch kits on. And what is your thought about these kits. Also what angle of helix is everyone using and what spring and helix should a guy use for a stock 08 M1000?
