Adjustable wastegate question
I have a 13 etec with the bd turbo kit and It has the adjustable waste gate on it also, it has the ebc built into control box also which works as advertised, my question is, I have turned it out = tighter= more boost but it seems like it doesn't affect the boost...
it goes to both of the coils, but my question is does it go between the sled and bd controll box or does it go between the bd box and the coils?? obviously the bd controll box goes to both coils aswell.. please help i dod not get any instructions with this e tec xm kit all all< and im missing...
i do this on all my turbos, after the pump going down on one of my turbos its a cheap way to meep an eye on things, i just use a 0-15psi fuel pressure guage and tee inline your turbo pump hose..
yea a .50 piece of light plastic to cover the belt drive would of been to complicated.. we all said this is going to be a issue. i have a home made cover over my belt drive system, its not pretty but it keeps the belt clean and dry..
this guy has a legit complaint, mine when i brought it home from dealer was bang on at 2200', i unplugged it and took my hood off then reassembled it and now it only reads 1500' also... i have ridden it many times at home which is 2200' but it is not calibrating to the correct elevation either...
