I try not to let mine get to 160 either. But after running half a day on low coolant and a few icy trails my first 100 miles on my new Wossner top end has seen 180+ a few times.... [emoji854][emoji854]
Higgins have you talked to Rod lately?
It’s been raining for two days over here in Quesnel, and the temps looked a little colder on the McBride side. I’m thinking they must of got some fresh snow over the last few days....
Rode Allan Creek yesterday. Obviously low on snow still but made fresh tracks under the sun all day! My buddy had a rough time getting down the trail on one shock tho lol
Curious if there are any reports from right in town or anyone been up in the Alpine today?
Highway cams not showing anything in Dunster or West Pine but Snowing over by Chappel...
Forecast is showing some snow towards the end of the week. Might go try Renshaw next weekend if it holds true
Rode Yanks Peak yesterday and probed 140-150cm
It might of at one point but I bought it used half way through last season with new decking on it
Why do the outside hooks like so much further ahead than the center one? Wouldn’t the sleds still be right up against the head ache rack wether or not it’s 1 or 2 sleds? I hope these aren’t stupid...
It looks like there are little plates for hooks but my math didn’t work out for it to be centred. Seemed like they were still 4”” too short.... maybe I don’t know how to run a tape measure lol I’ll double check tomorrow in the day light
I already have the deck style hooks bought already. Think I’m just going to put some 6x6 aluminum or steel plates underneath. Like you guys said, if that rips through I have bigger problems lol
That doesn’t look like it would be ideal for the side ones though cause the wood already needs to be notched for the hook when the sides are in. I don’t really want to cut out a 1’x1’ square lol
Hey guys, first winter running Superclamps on my deck. Center hook seemed pretty easy to instal, but what should I do for the side ones? There are no support tubes running where I think the hooks should be installed. Is running it through the 1/2” plywood sufficient?
Any advice on instal? Not trying to sound dumb, but I have no idea how to drive the bolt back through. Do the 4 knobs on the bottom of rubbers have to seat into the ski braces first?
Driving from PG to Edmonton today. Snowed hard from Haunted Tree Park to West Twin but really slowed down in McBride. Might be an inch in town but still trying to snow.
Have never rode Renshaw before Christmas. Not sure I would want to unless an above average early season. Both my buddies ripped their A-arms off trying to break trail last November lol
