I would just buy the Polaris clutch puller bolt. I think they’re $60. Might be a little difficult to hold the block tight enough to apply enough torque to the bolt...
The 3" Pro still comes with a chain case. Not sure why tho.
One of my riding groups has two 13s and two 15s with 163x3" conversions on belt drive with zero issues
Edit: I first said "chain case" instead of "belt drive" my bad
Wow that looks pretty rough! I just did mine a couple months ago. Was my first time as well. Thought I was going to get lucky and re use the block but she was a little too far gone for that, but no where near as bad as yours, Good luck!
Pro tip: weird how all 3 of the injector o rings are...
I mean overall the Amsoil produced more protection/lubricity but the difference was marginal at best. I'm not even sure the units of the deposit numbers, but the only substantial difference between the two oils was the piston undercrown deposits.
Both oils are sitting side by side on the shelf...
Also, I brought it up last year and it got shut down pretty quick but I'm going to propose it again:
Every other condition thread on this site is for the entire riding season, why can't we do that for McBride conditions?
Just seems so inconvenient to start one every month. Some people don't...
I was the complete opposite. I stopped watching the show because of that operation. Every week it was "we need 5 million ounces this month or were going broke.", "I have to fly home and ask my wifes second cousins uncles brother to lend me some money just so we can keep running" and then they...
Wow! Huge pickup for Polaris
Rode Nov 20th in Vale last year. Had buddies that tried to ride McBride the weekend before and both ripped an A-arm off heading up the trail lolol
Not a fan of the direction the show has went that last 5-6 years. Barely about sleds anymore, its all the secondary industries/attractions surrounding it. Kind of annoying when you're there to go look at some nice sleds and there is 10 hotel/lodging booths offering a $5 discount on there rooms...
As far as I'm aware 99% of people who have got the chance to ride them at this point in time are Polaris paid or sponsored riders so they're not going to say anything bad lol
I'm real curious to see the longevity of the single ringed pistons. I think they'll hold stock, but not quite sure how...
Think I might pull the trigger on a set of non-heated Line Miners. Will I have issues fitting the original ones in my helmet or should I get the XM model?
FrankenSled helmet flashlight is nice. Good lighting, not fixed to your sled so it's actually directed where you're looking. Also can use it when your sled is off. I cheaped out and bought a $15 one of Aliexpress. Not as good, but gets the job done.
Me and My old man run Rino 610s (wanted the ability to replace the AAs on the hill). Any of you guys running external mics on them to create a setup similar to the BCAs? If so what mic? Want to get one that can handle the elements.
