Whitecourt today March 3th 2018
Waist high ( 2 feet of base and 14-16 inch of pow on top ) in cut liners on the Manweeler trail close to the Athabasca river ....trail are OK by the summit cabin and good from Groat ridge staging but best on the Manweeler
Btw trails have been groomed and have 6" of fresh on top , the Shwatz Creek cabin is very nice with lots of dry wood , radio and cell charging dock too ....awesome job this club have done ...thanks guys !

Since i found out about this Barrhead trail system in this thread couple weeks ago , I'll post a ride report ....thank for the pointer TylerG!
On sunday Feb 14 ,2016 ....got a day pass from my lovely working wife .......so off sledding we go !
Did the run from Barrhead to Swan yesterday...
Agree 100% , Sawn Trail are in better shape then Whitecourt as of last weekend ... They seem to had received more snow and less traffic ....but last Saturday the wind did lots of deadfall
163km .. Is this one way or return ?
Am heading there tomorrow BTW
.....last weekend ended up unloading at Trapper Lea cabin and doing a run around Swan Hills, we did 160 km .
We saw lots of dead fall on that windy day ...
