Go to gen3usa for sure. My 500 scram has a pro circuit pipe, twin air filter, twin airbox snorkel, hpd carb mod kit, re-jetted and clutched. Got my clutching through High performance design, call them they will set you up with clutching based on riding style, mods, tire size and elevation.
clean up the quad, clean oil out of airbox and take it to the dealer, maybe they will fix it under warranty. Don't mention that you rode it off a cliff or whatever you did. If they won't fix it under warranty they'll at least let you know what needs to be fixed, take it home and start pulling...
Hondas are probably the most reliable machine and are great for work or if you like to putter around..... However if you want performance there not the way to go, not enough power, lame suspension, 3wd.
I think of the renegade as a "sporty" utility machine. Once you go bigger than 25 or 26" tires the sportiness starts to go away, the bigger the tires, the less of a sport quad they become.

I would consider factory ralley wheels, but was thinking more about aftermarket aluminums, 15", 17" or 18" wheels, american racing, weld, boss, coys, new or used I havn't totally decided yet. If I can't find what I'm looking for used, then I'll have to go with new.

google high performance design, once there they have a link for tech tips, they tell you how to allign clutches on a polaris. the center to center dimention may be different for you but it will give you some ideas. They are also really good with clutching. Lots of guys on gen3usa that know...
