The gauge is pretty integrated with the sled so either it woould work just for gps/buddy tracking or it would continue to pop codes all over the screen and drive you nuts. The antenna and a battery would need mounting/wiring too.
I no longer believe this. Our area is very quiet and if the trail is bad before the snow it will be bad with snow. We have tried to ride easy and it makes no difference, Maybe you can make a trail worse by roosting on the throttle but you can also spin in strategic locations to fill water...
For brand reliability it often comes down to maintenance and how hard you ride. I have had 2 skidoo motors go down and 1 Polaris motor. All going back as far as 2003. Have not had any issues since 2015.
The sleds are better now and I know what to look for and find stuff that might fail fail...
Well, even a Ski-doo guy would understand that the dealer involved here is not fixing the actual problem when replacing the motor. If the oil pump is broken they could install 100 motors and get the same results. These motors are not going down like this normally. Clutches may be a different...
If like previous years, the manufacturers will keep dropping or add warranty until February but then will suddenly shut down the incentives to prepare for snowcheck. Why order a snowcheck if there are hold-overs for 1/2 price? It is bad for business. The used market follows the new market, up...
No not at all. This was about someone else poking the bear and I just gave a sarcastic response. Doo is great and have been getting better every year. I didn't even know this was a brand specific thread that made it look as if I was trolling?
My 19 was the best sled I ever owned and lots of guys didn't have luck in 19. That said, if you wnat an Axys go for the 850 and you will get the narrow front end and longer legs. If you go Matyrx you get updated fueling and timing as they had more pick-up resolution on the flywheel. They also...
Also how much are you willing to spend? Each newer chassis design has been an improvement for rideability but not always reliabiility (eg a 21 might be just as reliable as a 23 model but the 23 is a better ride). There are some incredible deals for hold-overs and slightly used sleds.
No. a track is a track but I was trying to match the stupidity of mikermz250 about having to take a Doo for reliability. My point was that the Doo could have ripped a track like several ripped tracks we have seen in these low snow conditions and that Doo would be out of commision just like a...
It is kinda dumb that they have no holes or loops to put a strap through and they are pretty slippery. Hey Trail-Tech, while you are at it also add a charge port that doesn't need the dock.
