Good point Mongul .... with my Tatou 4s tracks, I haven't really played with the angle of attack yet. I checked that the fronts were at the heigth recommend in the instructions & that was all.
BUT, the angle of attack only helps in forward .... let me explain. We had a big mount of snow piled...

I've been looking at some at the attached link, and not that I'm cheap mind you, I just don't want to spend a small fortune on one.

I never had to back up once, even in ther first pic's. Just put it in low, diff lock, & the tracks just pulled right out of that...

If you're seerious about stopping by & maybe renting an ATV for a day ride. I just called a rental place close to me. They stated if a person wanted to rent during the memorial week, reservations for machines should be made ASAP.

I bought one of these 3000W Champion generators last year. Works great. It may be heavy, but a guy can lift it by himself, were I couldn't lift my 5K Coleman. :sadbanana:
The Champion is quiter than the Coleman, by far. I usually run the trailer...

These "SPOT" GPS things, have you seen those ?? You can get a inexpensive one for about $150 U.S. but the good ones cost about $600+ U.S.

In addition to what I mentioned about the things I carry, I too carry "Extras" to spend a couple of cold nites in the hills if I had to. Clothes, lots of socks, an emergency...

15 miles isn't to bad. I have to go 40 one way, to use my tracks. There are others areas, but they are even further.
