not yet, It should take a nice picture of piston wash, there is a small mirror on a 45 degree angle that fits through the plug hole as well, a small magnet and a hook attachment, I have used the powerfull little magnet to retreive a bolt under my motor in my Ski Nautique's bilge. I like that...
I bought a 9mm wireless inspection camera from Costco for 150.00 with this task in mind, inserted it between the secondary clutch tower and the carb and got a perfect view of the cable, no fraying at all.
I have used the camera for appliance, automotive and plumbing and I can e-mail pictures and...
gas shock fill tool kit # 503 190 102
tire valve type tool # 529 035 570
shock absorber oil # 293 600 035
I have N2 also but I will be sending my other sleds shocks to Enzo, for how many days I ride a year and the cost of BRP oil it's not worth doing them myself, they are really good to deal...
100.00 as they quoted me before I sent it by Greyhound and about 45.00 round trip for shipping.
Between the proper nitrogen pressure now and the heavier springs the sled actually rebounds after I get off, The S-36 front end kit is back ordered so I may find out if the rear upgrade makes much...
sent rear shock to Enzo for re valve etc. fast turn around and good price when you consider what BRP wants for the oil alone, I will use them for my other sleds as well. pair of stock 08 "X" 154" rails for sale 100.00, as well as front shock with 800 miles for 145.00,(350.00 tax in new from BRP)
Just re visited the color brochure, I stand corrected on the brochure, the S-36 word is not associated with the rear suspension upgrade, it is above it and refers strictly to the front kit, Sorry Frank and Bounce
still doesn't change the fact that the dealers don't want to re valve them.
I will...
The parts book labels the rear suspension part # 860200404 as a S-36 rear suspension upgrade, It is listed right under the S-36 front end narrowing kit,In less this is a mis print they are calling it S-36??? Just came from the Edmonton sled show, I asked several people in the industry for help...
most Doo dealers will sell you the S-36 rear suspension kit without telling you that they do NOT do the re valving, they may even refer you to a Polaris dealer to try and revalve it, you can buy all of the tools listed on the directions if you have access to a nitrogen bottle and a way to adapt...
I have been 15 years on Summits, My biggest regret is that the side hilling of the XP was not right in 08 or 09, why did it take 3 seasons to address this at all and 4 seasons to finally get it right. I am not ready to switch brands, its a very expensive upgrade from an 08 to a 2011 suspension...
I have made three orders from Haber vision, Love them for sledding, the fan noise kicking on and off is noticable for snow boarding and skiing though, Great company to deal with, good quality goggles, highly recommend them.
bought an S-36 rear kit, the rear S-36 kit comes with a re-valving kit for the back shock, where is a good place to recalibrate, re oil and Nitrogen pressure up the shock, Is it worth buying the specialty tools to do this at home or drop the shock off and pay someone to do this part? the S-36...

Nice to see that people are finally acknowledging what a buffalo the 08 and 09 XP's are to side hill, I have ordered both rear and front S-36 kits and will probably switch skiis as well, I am only 160 lbs with 15 years of mountain riding on Doos, My lightened 156"S chassis and 159"ZX chassis...
Thinking of going to Coleman sledding on April first weekend, is there enough snow to ride from Coleman to Lost lakes?
Is grooming still going on and where can a person pay for trail access fees?
I am trying to decide between Golden and the Crowsnest for next weekend.
