Please take the time for a moment of silence today folks. I remember my grandpa who fought in WW2 .

This is a good friend of one of my closest friends. He is no longer with us but died for us. I only wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him.

I am guilty of working today too. We have 7 of us on our crew working away from home. Had we been at home we would not be working. Our whole crew did shut down for 10 minutes at 11 for a few moments of reflection.
I understand it needs to be done.we just need to remember. That’s great that you took a time out.

For the last 3 years I have been attending the Remembrance Day Ceremonies at Cold Lake, prior to that I went to the ceremonies in Bonnyville, if I was not at Work. I f I was at work I would stop @ 10:30 and turn on the Radio and listen for the “ Last Post “ Today like years before, I still shed a tear at that haunting bugle sound.
Lest we forget. God bless you all our fallen’ heroes.
