Wow thanks again glengine i never new they had ceramic cans!!!
But the melting is at the conection from the can and the pipe (no shielding for the water hose)
So the ceramic can does't melt the plastic at the bottom attachment?What make of can,how much and where do they come from? I was going to get the jaws can but it doesn't have ceramic.

Yah the can that i've used probably the most is the specialty sleds can.. They are built for the mountains and come ceramic coated so that you dont have to really worry about any melting issues.. Also if you take that plastic peice out nothing should get close enough to your exhaust to be an issue..
