Hi there, just seen you posted some codes on the Apex. I am wondering how you can get the code to come up on the display. I can get to the Di and thats it.
Not a problem, it's my brothers son-in-law, he was able to find a guy in SALMON ARM, the guy also deals in used sleds, can't recall who the guy was.
I ended up selling the 800 that I got from you to a buddy of mine and he loves it, it's still running well. With the cash from that I took my '07 to the Polaris dealer in Beaverlodge and got a '10 Dragon. I'm down at my brothers right now, we went up Quest this afternoon, did not have much time so we only got to 13 km. Might go out somewhere tomorrow for a few hours, where would you recommend.
Do you want to rebuild an engine out of a '96 583 MXZ, looks like the water pump seal has gone on it, there is water in the oil reservoir. He's been quoted 6 to 8 hours. If your looking for a little extra cash. You can give the guy a call if your interested at 250 517 0959.
I'm in no hurry now, winterized it on the weekend and put it away until I figure out what to do. It's a 2003 4.3L V6 Chevy Vortec. Not really sure of damage until it's ripped apart. This is what I've been told, I could have skeg repaired but weld would always be a weak spot if ever hit again. Gears probably have impact marks, could reuse but again a weak spot. Prop shaft could be straightened but another weak spot because of metal fatigue. Am I being to anal about this or does this sound right to you. My son has a jr dragster and until a couple of weeks ago I would have never thought a shaft would break under regular load. He has approx. 25 hp and it sheared the shaft like a hot knife through butter, the break was so clean it almost looked machined
when could I get it?
i was going to a local spring guy today who says he can make a pair for me, but like you, the last one ended up flattening and messing up my measurements on a rack i was making. did the rack level for the world, but one side was sagging by 3/4" so had to cut and reweld rack taking that in account.
I have lots of shock and springs and built offroad car chassis here in california for years, but I dont want another project before this winter. i only haul gear in it usually. Next summer it may be on the list.
