Our daughter was diagnosed with a rare lysomal storage disease 7 years ago. We spent months at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Oncology Unit while she was going through her stem cell transplants to try and stop the progression of her disease that unfortunately has no cure. Living on a paediatric oncology unit sure puts life into perspective. We witnessed too many parents lose their child to cancer.... No child or family should ever have to experience the pain and sorrow of cancer. We learnt about camp kindle while staying at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and believe this program to be such a wonderful asset to those families in need, especially learning that camp kindle is located right here in Alberta. My wife Janelle is doing the 3 day 330 km bicycle ride through the Rockies. So to help her reach her fundraising goal, I made this coffe table which we will be raffling off to one of the first 75 entries. Each $20 donation will be considered a entry. ( for example a $100 donation will give you 5 entries). As a bonus to donating every donation over $20 is a tax write off.
