I dig the ghost flames !........whats a guy gotta do to change a color scheme ??? sand past clear ?? or what ???
Depends what you want. In your case, the flames are made of kevlar threading that is molded into the panels, then a candy color is sprayed and the whole thing cleared. If you sand the panels past the candy color you will get into the kevlar threads, which doesn't sand and you'll have a big mess. You may be able to spray a different candy over top and then re-clear. Your sled looks pretty nice as is! Or at least it did when I built it - not sure what it looks like now!

You can do some flames like whats on my sled now. This is what it looked like last year. I thought I would make them stand out more.

Just love that purple eh!! The base on your panels is PPG Vibrance "wineberry". A purple base would go over nicely, just remember as you load more base over it you won't see as much of the cf pattern or the threads through it. You could do a ghost flame job with the purple. To make them stand out more, airbrush a light silver coat around the edges of the masked off flames, then spray your purple, then re-clear. This would be similar to what I did with the flames on mine - this is what it looked like last year.

My hood doesn't have much left to paint cause it is all screening. The ghost flames like nice in full sun, but in low light they're almost invisible.
