--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We just spoke with the "Edmonton Disaster Relief" they are indicating that the MOST DESPERATELY NEEDED ITEMS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Towels -- Preferably NEW
Bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows etc)
Mens Socks & Underwear
Womens Socks and Underwear
Kids sock & underwear
TOILETRIES (Shampoo, Soaps, Toothpaste, Mouthwash etc)

Snowandmud.com will be setup in the Home Depot Parking lot on 17th Street and Whitemud tonight from 6-9 pm, and tomorrow from 5-9 pm to assist in collecting these donations. We are in direct contact with Edmonton Disaster Relief as to where to drop these items off.

Cash donations and gift cards will be accepted on site as well.

Hi everyone,

Edmonton Emergency Relief Services Society is conducting a furniture blitz for Slave Lake residents. Things like couches and chairs, kitchen tables, dressers, etc. (No beds or clothing). Please ensure the furniture is clean and usable.

You can drop your items off at Instant Storage, 11760-109 Street, Monday and Tuesday this week (June 6 & 7). Drop off hours are between 10 am and 4 pm.

Great time to donate some furniture that you are no longer using and help some good folks...

Thanks!
