Building a House- a semi brief overview to date

so i am building my own house on an acreage near cremona. 9 acres of all trees. so far we have cut and split about 45 cords, from just basically where the house is going. here are the pics i have from beginning till now(nov 21, 2008)

house is 3200 square ft in total. 2000 main, 1200 upstairs. garage is 40x50 with 16 ft roof. then there is 1000 on the south side that is storage, arts and crafts area for the wife. all in floor heat, even on the second floor. no basement. slab on grade. the floors on the first floor are stamped colored concrete

I'm a drywall supervisor in Calgary, and have been in this industry for 27 years. Everything you guy's are doing is looking great. I'm really jealous of the garage. Your going to have a master piece when your done.

bought that property about 1 1/2 years ago. just started building this spring, so not officially living there YET! but soon. and my sister and her family have lived in cremona for about 4 years now
